To download the source code for this extension from Chrome Web Store, it is recommended to use Extension Source Downloader. With this addon, you can download the source code as a ZIP or CRX format to your machine. If you want to download the source code from the Firefox addons store, please open the firefox download link (if available) in the Firefox browser and then right-click on the - Add to Firefox - button and select - Save Link As... - item. You can access insight from the icon available in the browser URL bar. Clicking on the icon (green, yellow or gray circle) will open a small window containing information about the website.
6. What are different colors for the URL bar icon?
URl bar icon has three different colors. Green means the site is clean and no malicious contents are detected. Yellow is for malicious websites and means the site has some sorts of malicious content (Acording to Google SafeBrowsing website). Gray color is when the addon is loading or searching for data. Please note: results form Google SafeBrowsing may be differes from other websites such as VirusTotal.com. In other words, VirusTotal may list a website as malicious, but Google may say it is Clean. Insight Addon only gives you a concise info about each website and it is not designed to thoroughly check websites for malicious or works as a anti-virus. Plus it does not block you from entering any website. For all these purposes please install and use comprehensive anti-virus softwares.
7. Can Insight be used as Antivirus or Anti-Phishing Addon or Software?
