    Privacy Guard & Manager is a multi-browser addon that helps you increase your privacy by adjusting few privacy settings in your browser. The last section is for websites settings and includes 7 options. As mentioned above, depending on the browser version and OS, some of these items may not be available for you to change.

    Network privacy has 5 options to adjust. The first item is network prediction option. According to Chrome developer website, if you enable this setting, the browser will attempt to speed up your web browsing experience. The second item is for Peer Connection. This is a privacy setting to enable or disable RTCPeerConnection interface. It is currently available for Firefox browser only. Next setting is for WebRTC multiple routes. Once you enable this option, your browser will explore all routing options when using WebRTC to find the most performant path (and possibly exposing IP address). Forth option is for WebRTC non-proxied UDP. When this setting is enabled, your browser is allowed to use non-proxied UDP to connect to peers when using WebRTC. The last option in this section if for WebRTC IP Handling Policy. This option allow users to specify the media performance or privacy adjustments. There are 4 values available to choose for this item from the drop down list.

    Network services has 7 options to adjust. The first item is password saving. If you enable this setting, the password manager in your browser will ask you if you want to save passwords or not. Alternate Error Pages is the second option that enables your browser to help resolve navigation errors. Third option is for autofill forms. Once enabled the browser will offer you to automatically fill web-forms. Forth option is for safe browsing experience. If your enable this option, the browser tries to protect you from phishing and malware websites. Search suggest is the fifth item in services settings. Once this option is enabled, it offers you search predictions and completions of what you have typed so far. Sixth setting is for spelling service which helps you correct spelling errors when you are typing. The last option is for translation which offers you to translate pages to a desired language. As mentioned above, depending on your browser and OS, some of these setting may not be available in toolbar popup UI.

    Website privacy has 7 options to adjust. From top to bottom, there is third party cookie item which helps you block or allow third party websites from changing your browsers cookies. Next, there is first party isolate setting. Currently this option is only available for Firefox browser. When you enable this option, your browser isolates some data (i.e. cookies, cached images, and more) from = third party domains. Hyperlink auditing is the third setting available which allows the browser to send auditing pings when requested by a website. Fifth option in this category is for referrers. Once enabled, the browser will send referrer headers with your requests. Then next setting is for protected content. This option is only available for Chrome browser on window machine. It provides a unique ID for plugins in order to run protected contents. Resist finger printing is the sixth item. When this option is enabled, the browser will report finger-printing data, such as number of CPU cores, precision of JavaScript timers, and the local time zone. Please note that this item is currently available for Firefox browser only. The last setting is for tracking protection in your browser and blocks domains that track users.

    There are 4 buttons available in toolbar popup UI at the top section. The first button is - Reset to Default. Please press on this button if you want to reset all setting to the default values. Please note that this operation is irreversible, meaning that you cannot revert the changes back to your settings. Next button is for reloading the active tab. Once you make any change in the popup and want to see its effect on the active tab, please press on this button to reload the active tab without closing the toolbar popup UI. Third option is for reloading popup UI itself; this option is useful to make sure your settings are saved to the memory. The last button is for opening this support page.
