Working with this extension is very easy and it starts to work as soon as it is added to your browser. Just open the toolbar popup UI window and click on the desired player icon. Default player is set to Flash, so if this is the right player for you, you do not need to change anything. But if HTML5 player is the right one for you, simply click on the HTML5 player icon to switch the YouTube player. Your choice will be stored and used anytime you open a YouTube page or view a YouTube embedded videos. Other than these two options in the popup UI, there are no more settings or adjustments to make.   • How to add or remove the toolbar button?

    If you do not want to see the addon icon in the toolbar popup, for Google Chrome and Opera browsers, right click on the toolbar icon and then click on Hide the icon, the Addon icon will be hide. Unfortunately in Chrome and Opera browsers there is no way to re-position the icon to a different place other than the browser toolbar. But in Firefox browser, to reposition or add/remove the toolbar icon, right-click on a free space in your Firefox toolbar and select "Customize...". Now you can drag and drop the button to a new position. There are plenty of positions to move the icon depending on your interest. In future versions of the Addon, there will be an option to move the toolbar icon inside YouTube pages (in-page popup) and close to the YouTube player itself.

  • How to access to the settings in Firefox, Chrome or Opera?

    As mentioned above, this Addon has no settings or options to choose. Everything needed is available in the toolbar popup UI.

  • How to install this extension in your Firefox?

    In order to install, head to Mozilla Store search for the YouTube™ Flash-HTML and once found, click on "Add to Firefox" button.

  • How to uninstall this extension from your Firefox?

    In order to uninstall this Addon, please go to Firefox -> Add-ons -> (YouTube™ Flash HTML), then press on the Uninstall button.

  • How to enable Flash player for YouTube?

    To enable Flash player, as described above, simply open the toolbar popup UI and click on the Flash icon. Then, reload any YouTube page(s) and you will have Flash player activated for all videos. It is very important to reload the current page, otherwise no changes will be applied to the YouTube player.

  • How to enable HTML5 player for YouTube?

    To enable HTML5 player, simply open the toolbar popup and click on the HTML5 icon. Reload any YouTube page(s) and you will have HTML5 player activated for all videos. Important Note: you also need to enable HTML5 form: https://www.youtube.com/html5. By enabling this, YouTube player will have the ability to fetch and load videos in HTML5 player.

    No, currently this addon is only available for Desktop browsers, but in future versions, compatibility for major mobile browsers will be added.
