1. What is 2048 Prime?

2048 Prime is a fun and easy to use puzzle game. Just click on the toolbar popup icon to open the game. According to Wikipedia, 2048 is played on a 4×4 grid table, with numbered tiles that slide when a player moves them using keyboard arrow keys (on desktop PCs) or by touch (on mobile devices). In every turn, a new tile will randomly appear in an empty spot on the board with a value of either 2 or 4. Tiles slide as far as possible in the chosen direction until they are stopped by either another tile or the edge of the grid. If two tiles of the same number collide while moving, they will merge into a tile with the total value of the two tiles that collided. The resulting tile cannot merge with another tile again in the same move. The goal is to create a tile with the number 2048.

2. How can I move the tiles?

On a desktop PC or Mac, you can use keyboard arrow keys to move the tiles (up, down, left and right). Alternatively, there are built-in arrow keys in the 2048 window (bottom), which you can use to move the tile by a mouse click. On a mobile device, either the built-in keyboard or touch can be used for moving the tiles.

3. How can I download the source code for 2048 Prime?

To download the source code for this extension from Chrome Web Store, it is recommended to use Extension Source Downloader. With this addon, you can download the source code as a ZIP or CRX format to your machine. If you want to download the source code from the Firefox addons store, please open the firefox download link (if available) in the Firefox browser and then right-click on the - Add to Firefox - button and select - Save Link As... - item. Choose the destination folder on your machine and then save the file in XPI format. You can then rename the XPI format to a RAR or ZIP file. Some extensions may have a GitHub repo address, which you can use to download the source code as well. But, it may not be the latest version of the addon. Yes, you can change the color in puzzle tiles easily from the main window. Simply click on the desired color (array of colors are available underneath the puzzle table) and the colors change immediately. Please note that all the settings and colors are auto saved.

Yes, 2048 prime uses an artificial intelligence engine which plays the game for you. Just click on the Auto button and see how computer brain is playing the game for you. You can also adjust the playing speed.

6. How to uninstall this extension from your Firefox?

In order to uninstall this Addon in Firefox, go to Firefox -> Add-ons -> 2048 Prime, then press on the Uninstall button. For Opera and Chrome browsers, follow a similar approach to remove the Addon.

Yes, by pressing on the Hint button the AI engine gives you the best possible moving direction as a hint. Please note, pressing the hint button does not move any tiles, it just suggests you a moving direction, which you can follow by pressing corresponding keyboard arrow keys.
