Please note that if you have an open tab feedly webpage, you need to manually refresh the tab for the notifier to fetch your token id and be able to check your feeds.

Yes, go the settings page and uncheck "Display badge notification" option. Also there is another option there to let you adjust time intervals between each badge update.
