Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1. What is Magic Squares?

Magic Squares is a fun and easy to use brainstorming game. The game is challenging as you have to reorder the cells to make them read from 1 to 8. The only way to move cells is by clicking on the gray areas next to cell 0 (empty cell). Please note you can only click on the neighboring cells at the top, right, bottom and left sides. If you can finish the game, all cells turn to green color and a notification will be shown.

  • 2. How to play the game?

Click on the toolbar button to open the game UI. Next, click on the (New Game) button to start a new game. You can close and open the UI to start a new game as well. Within the game UI, click on the dark gray areas next to the empty cell (0). Try to move the cells with this approach to make them read from (1 to 8) and the last cell 0. Each time you press on the New Game button, a random order for the numbers will appear on the screen. Please note, there are a lot of games named (Magic Squares), but they are not the same game. This Magic Square game is, to some extent, similar to Rubik’s cube but in a 2 dimensional space. Like Rubik’s cube, the goal is to reorder the cells to match a certain criteria. Here, the criteria is to reorder the cells from 1 to 8.
