1. What is Page Screenshot?
Page Screenshot is a multi-browser addon that enables you to capture a full page screenshot from any desired website. Just click on the toolbar icon (or press Alt+Shift+D combination) to capture the screenshot. You can adjust screenshot image format from the options page. Moreover, image quality and time delay between multiple screenshots are also customizable. The screenshot will be saved to the default download location in your browser. Please note, in order to change the download location, visit the settings page in your browser.
2. Is there any shortcut key to capture the screenshot instead of the toolbar button?
Yes, you can use (Alt + Shift + D) combinations to capture a screenshot. Please note, if you are using Chrome browser, this combination can be adjusted as well. But in Firefox and Opera browsers, currently it is not adjustable.
3. How to access to the options page?
In order to access the option page, please visit the extensions page in your browser and click on the options button.
4. How can I change the screenshot format?
There are two options available for screenshot formats. One is PNG and the other is JPEG. In order to adjust these formats, please visit the options page.
5. How can I change the screenshot quality?
Quality is a number between 0 and 100 percent. Where 0% is the lowest and 100% is the highest available qualities. As mentioned above, to change this value please see the options page. Please note that, quality is only applied to the JPEG screenshot format. For PNG, the browser itself will decide on the quality value. According to the WebExtensions API documentation, default quality is 92 percent.
6. How to install this extension in your Firefox?
In order to install, head to Mozilla Store and click on "Add to Firefox" button. The addon will be installed into your browser without re-start. Similarly, you can install it in Chrome and Opera browsers.
7. How to uninstall this extension from your Firefox?
In order to uninstall, please go to your browser -> add-ons -> (extension name), then press the uninstall button.
8. Why this addon does not work instantly when I add it to my browser?
When you first add this addon to your browser, please reload all open tabs. Once tabs are reloaded the extension will work as normal.
9. How can I change the time delay between screenshots for long-page websites?
For long-page websites, this extension capture multiple screenshots from top to the bottom of the website and then merges all to prepare a single screenshot. You can adjust the time delay between each screenshot. Default value is 100 milliseconds and the maximum value is 10000 milliseconds or 10 seconds. Please note that you need to enter the value in milliseconds.
10. How can I save the screenshot in a different format?
Currently, the screenshot is only available in PNG and JPEG formats. In future PDF might be added to the available formats.
