1. What is Page to Sidebar?

Page to Sidebar is a multi-browser add-on to help users render desired websites in the browser sidebar interface (side panel). You can choose to view the website in the mobile version too. This addon is very convenient for multi-tasking users who need to surf multiple websites at a time. Working with this addon is very easy. First, open the options page to set the website address. Next, choose the desired mobile view user agent or the default desktop view. Then click on the toolbar button to open the sidebar interface and enjoy surfing the web. Please note that some websites may not load properly in the sidebar due to their specific design, but according to our tests, a high percentage of websites are correctly rendered in the sidebar.

2. How can I work with this addon?

Once you install the addon, please open the options page and enter the desired site address in the designated area. Please make sure to write a correct URL, otherwise, the website will not load in the sidebar. Then, open the sidebar and you will see the site loaded in the sidebar. Please note that all websites are rendered in mobile view by default. But you can change this behavior on the options page. Moreover, within the sidebar interface, there is a toolbar with few buttons (top section).

3. How can I download the source code for Page to Sidebar?

To download the source code for this extension from Chrome Web Store, it is recommended to use Extension Source Downloader. With this addon, you can download the source code as a ZIP or CRX format to your machine. If you want to download the source code from the Firefox addons store, please open the firefox download link (if available) in the Firefox browser and then right-click on the - Add to Firefox - button and select - Save Link As... - item. Choose the destination folder on your machine and then save the file in XPI format. You can then rename the XPI format to a RAR or ZIP file. 5. Can I render any website with this add-on?

In general, yes. But you may see some websites not loading correctly in the sidebar. This is due to their design and there is no way to fix this in this addon. According to our test, many websites can be rendered in the sidebar without any problems.

6. Can I hide the top toolbar in the sidebar interface?

Yes. You can hide it temporarily by clicking the - right chevron - button at the top-right corner or hiding it permanently via the options page. Please mark the checkbox next to the toolbar item (last option) to hide the top toolbar permanently.

7. How to access the settings page?

To open the settings page, please open the interface and then click on the settings button from the top toolbar. Alternatively, you can right-click the toolbar button and then click on the - Options - item from the menu. Currently, there are few settings to adjust, please note that all changes are auto-saved to the memory.
