1. What is Radio Player?

Radio Player, is a simple and powerful add-on that can play online radio right in your desktop. It has a list of more than 24k radio channels. Simply select the country of your choice and then select a desired channel from the right list. The radio will start to play automatically after loading completed. Please note that, some radio channels may not work correctly. In case of any errors happening, please select a different channel and try again. You can pause the current radio or change the volume from the radio player in the UI. All changes are auto-saved to the memory in this addon.

2. How can I work with this addon?

As mentioned above, simply open the radio UI and select a country from the dropdown list on top right corner. Then, select an station from the stations list (right next to the country list on top). If the station is working (has a valid URL), it will be loaded and played automatically. You can also adjust the desired volume from the audio player. Please note that, not all the radio stations are working correctly. Depending on your country or region some stations may not work. In case of any errors, please choose a different channel. At the bottom of the UI, there are few buttons. From left to right, there is a reload button to reload the UI. Next, there is a reset button to clear all changes in the UI. Third button is for opening the support page and the last button is for making donations. When the app UI is closed and opened again (or reloaded) the last radio station will be loaded and played automatically.

3. How can I download the source code for Radio Player?

To download the source code for this extension from Chrome Web Store, it is recommended to use Extension Source Downloader. With this addon, you can download the source code as a ZIP or CRX format to your machine. If you want to download the source code from the Firefox addons store, please open the firefox download link (if available) in the Firefox browser and then right-click on the - Add to Firefox - button and select - Save Link As... - item. Choose the destination folder on your machine and then save the file in XPI format. You can then rename the XPI format to a RAR or ZIP file. Some extensions may have a GitHub repo address, which you can use to download the source code as well. But, it may not be the latest version of the addon. Therefore, downloading the source code from the official web stores is the best option as it always gives you the latest version of the addon.

4. How many radio channels are available in this addon?

Currently there are more than 24000 radio stations available in this addon. In the future, support for more stations will be added.

5. Are there any background activities when I close the addon?

No, this addon does not have any background activities when you close the UI. Everything happens within the app UI and when it closes all the active operations will be terminated.

6. Are there any options or settings to adjust in this addon?

There is not a separate options or settings page for this addon. All the settings required to operate with this addon is available in the app UI.

7. Can I add a custom radio station?

No, unfortunately you cannot add a custom radio station in the current version. In future releases support for custom radio channels will be added.

8. Is this addon available for mobile browsers?

Yes, this addon is available for both mobile and desktop machines in all operating systems (Windows, Linux, and Mac).

9. How can I disable this addon?

In order to disable this addon, please head to the extensions tab and then click on the disable button next to addons name. But, as mentioned above, when you close the UI, all background activities will be terminated.
