Text to Music is a multi-browser add-on to help users generate music tracks from arbitrary text prompts (english only). It uses artificial intelligence to create the music. Please wait for the addon to load completely, then enter an English text prompt (top section) and press the start button. Wait for a few seconds (depending on your machine specs) for the app to create the music track, the resulting audio will be rendered at the bottom section. 2. How can I work with this addon?
Once you install the addon, please press the toolbar button to open the interface. Wait for the app to load completely, then enter an English text prompt (i.e. a country song with guitars and drums) at the top field. Next, choose the processing device (CPU or GPU). By default, CPU is chosen but you can change it to GPU if your browser supports webgpu. Please note that currently there is not much difference in terms of processing time between CPU and GPU because the webgpu engine is still under active development. After you enter the text prompt, please press the - Start - button and wait to see the audio track at the bottom section. Currently, there are three settings to adjust for this app. The first setting is the guidance scale which is related to the processing speed vs audio quality. The next setting is related to the audio track duration time which is from 1 to 30 seconds. The 30-second limit is due to browser limitations and will be enhanced in future versions. The last setting is related to AI creativity in generating the music track. You can play with these settings to get the desired result. This addon uses AI technology and a pre-trained model to perform the job. Please note that the extension is still in beta and may not produce a valid result for all text prompts. Moreover, depending on your machine, since the trained data is large, it might slow down your browser while being used.

Yes, according to our tests, you can generate a music track for any English text prompt. But please note that since this technology is rather new and a work in progress, the results might not be very accurate for all prompts. Moreover, you may see sudden crashes or freezes during the process.

Within the app interface at the top right corner, there is a reload button. To refresh or reload the app, please press this button once. Wait for the app to load completely, then start using it. Depending on your machine, the loading duration may take up to a few seconds to a minute.
